Good hip-hop can be hard to find, but the beat lives on at The Stage. And next week, the Design District club is pleased to welcome Buckshot, the latest in a string of shows by underground rap kings.

The heavyweight rapper is renowned for his funky flow and sick collaborative efforts. Since 1999, he's released 14 albums, sometimes working with his groups Black Moon and Boot Camp Clik, other times with producers like 9th Wonder and even KRS-One.

This time 'round, Buckshot's hitting the streets with his latest release, The Solution. And Friday, May 31, he'll help Miami put an end to the wack rapper problem.

A prolific hip-hopper with more than a decade of experience, this East Coast veteran remains one of the hardest working rhymers in the game. And he is determined to keep the soulful spirit of hip-hop alive in an era of over-commercialized glitz.

You won't find any catchy dance tracks on the new album, but you will find street-wise attitude and hard-edged honesty. Obviously, Buckshot is confident in his Solution, because while he knows the game is fickle, he also knows his track record means he doesn't have to prove shit to any little upstart.

Expect his show at The Stage to be more than just a dope party. It's gonna be a celebration of conscious hip-hop's will to survive. He is going to bless his real fans with the livest rhymes, because he knows it's all about them. Come out, show props to one of the realest, and get down to the beat like you know the pop bullshit won't win.
