The act of popular '90s musicians scheduling and subsequently postponing tour stops in South Florida continues.

Following a trend perfected earlier this year by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eddie Vedder has regrettably postponed his upcoming 15-city U.S. solo tour "due to temporary nerve damage" in the legendary Pearl Jam frontman's right arm, "the result of a back injury sustained earlier this year."

His two-night stint at Fort Lauderdale's Broward Center for the Performing Arts, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 13 and Monday, May 14, has been rescheduled for Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1.

In a statement released on the Vedder's website, Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis commented on musician's current physical condition.

"After having worked aggressively with doctors and physical therapists for the last eight weeks to repair the damage, the intensity of the injury and time needed to heal has made it impossible to play the shows as scheduled. There was hope up until the last minute that the treatments would be successful. Sincerest apologies go out to those who have made plans and bought tickets. Eddie is frustrated beyond measure, but remains positive that come this summer all will be back in good form."

While tickets purchased for the original date will be honored, refunds will be offered "upon request through the point-of-purchase."

Get well soon, Eddie.
