Is that the sound of a 68-year-old screaming to the tune of the CSI: Miami theme song?
Well, yeah. And you know what that means ... Legendary rock 'n' roll band The Who has just announced another arena road trip -- The Quadrophenia and Classics tour -- a two-leg, 36-show jag across North America, which kicks off at the BankAtlantic Center on November 1.
Now in their old age, The Who crew dudes (especially Roger Daltrey) have resorted to supplementing their royalty checks and Social Security by working the late-night informercial circuit and soundtracking the title sequences of crappy police procedurals.
But we just hope Pete Townsend's not too riddled with arthritis to ride a Vespa, smash a flaming guitar, and flip off "The Punk and the Godfather."
