The Room. Saturday, December 31, 9 p.m., 100 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Free. It's tiny. Tighter than a Chinese finger trap, actually. But The Room is such a great little spot for brews and indie rock. Ring in 2012 drunk off French beer and dancing to bands Pitchfork doesn't even know about.

Ludacris at Bayfront Park New Year's Eve. Saturday, December 31, 7 p.m., Bayfront Park, 391 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. Free. Get touristy with it and count down the New Year with folks from across the globe.
