A month and a half ago, hyperkinetic copyright prankster and Illegal Art label boss Girl Talk (AKA Greg Gillis) revealed that he was "extending his pheremone-soaked North American spree by scheduling another 38 sweaty encounters, including a gig at the Fillmore Miami Beach May 19."
Immediately, all the little hipsters in bandanas, hot pink tights, and classic Solar Shields started liking, poking, texting, tweeting, screaming, dancing ... And apparently, buying mass amounts of tickets too.
That's right, it's still a month away and Girl Talk's Fillmore concert is already in danger of selling out. Hence, a second gig on May 20.
Just like the Thursday throwdown, expect the next night to be a brutally banging orgy of 2,462 hot sweaty humans, several thousand feet of toilet paper, random props, confetti, and balloons with foreplay by Max Tundra. It will be wild. It will be messy. It will be exhausting. In other words, remember to wear your best body fluid-proof suit.
The presale for the May 20 show begins at 10 a.m. sharp this Wednesday. So start liking, poking, texting, tweeting, screaming, dancing ... And then drag your little hipster ass out of bed before noon. Or risk missing round two of Girl Talk's spastic Magic City group session.
