Brazil is great for a lot of things. Besides its ability to produce incredibly good-looking people, it can also produce some really good-looking (and -tasting) wine. In honor of Curitiba, Brazil, becoming a sister city of Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Museum will host the Sister City Wine and Spirits Series: Curitiba, Brazil. Aside from sampling a delectable collection of Brazilian wines, guests can brush up on their knowledge of all things Brazilian. Featured speakers include local wine expert Patrick Alexander, U.S. sales brand ambassador for Wines of Brasil Daniel Marquez, and Brazilian Cultural Center of Miami president Adriana Sabino. Celebrate the familial joining of two great cities at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Coral Gables Museum (285 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables). Tickets cost $20 for museum members and students and $30 for general admission. This event is 21 and over. Call 305-603-8067 or visit coralgablesmuseum.org.
