The YoungArts Foundation is doing some pretty stellar work, and the latest production it can add to its list is The Way of the Rain Miami. In this multidisciplinary show, performers “pay homage to Earth and its universal elements through the exploration of light, sound, color, and texture.” Featuring dancing, singing, musical performances, and even a film tribute, The Way of the Rain Miami will be a visual and artistic spectacle. Though some of the creatives behind the show are Grammy-nominated and -winning artists such as Will Calhoun, Chuck Palmer, and Dave Eggar, the biggest highlight is married to the director of the show. Sibylle Szaggars Redford directed the team of celebrated creatives, and she also happens to be married to Robert Redford. Yes, that Robert Redford, as in the original Jay Gatsby. Aside from playing the role of supportive husband, Mr. Redford will also participate in the show with a performance reading. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tuesday at the National YoungArts Foundation Campus (2100 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). Tickets cost $47.50 for a mezzanine seat, $125 for a premium seat, and $500 for a gold-level seat, preshow cocktail reception, and postshow cast meet-and-greet. Call 305-377-1140 or visit youngarts.org.
