Despite opposing views on war, the current administration, and foreign policy, supporting our men and women in uniform is something that all Americans can agree on. After all, we're forever indebted to their brave, selfless service and commitment to our country. So buy a vet a beer. Or simply thank a service member. They'll appreciate the gesture. If you really want to go all out, though, invite a veteran to the Jon Secada-hosted benefit concert, Miami Rocks Our Troops. With proceeds going to HonorVet.org, an organization helping veterans and their families, it's a one-night, multi-act minifest at BankUnited Center with scheduled performances by "Achy Breaky Heart" king Billy Ray Cyrus and ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons — plus Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, José "Feliz Navidad" Feliciano, dance-pop diva Erika Jayne, American Idol alumnus Sammy Arriaga, and others. "Home to a lot of our Latino veterans, Miami is the perfect place to create an event as diverse as its culture and vibe," HonorVet.org cofounder and CEO Jesse Canella said in a statement. "We are sure we will have a concert worthy of those who have served this nation."
