Less Filling Art

The mysteries of the ocean, the inexorable tides of time, and the atmospheric surrealism of landscapes — not to mention enough free grog to float the Titanic — are all reasons to shake a leg over to Wynwood this weekend for Second Saturday Art Walk. At 7 p.m., it’s anchors aweigh at Gallery Diet. In “Voyage on Uncanny Seas,” nearly a dozen artists fathom the strange animal and plant life discovered after a recent decade-long census of marine life as well as the catastrophic effects of the BP oil spill.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11 a.m. Starts: Feb. 12. Continues through March 5, 2011
