After stumbling out of the gate and losing their first two games of the season, the Miami Dolphins have been reborn. These are no longer the milquetoast, punch-to-the-collective-nut-sack Dolphins of the past. This team has been revived by an unexpectedly obstinate defense and a new offense that features one of the coolest formations ever devised the Wildcat play. It was the Wildcat that helped the Fins hand the Patriots their own asses, and it was the Wildcat that helped the Fins to a 17-10 beatdown over the Chargers. For those keeping score at home, that's two wins over the two teams in last season's AFC Championship game. Wildcat!
This Sunday, the Wildcat Dolphins host the Baltimore Ravens at Dolphin Stadium. There are suddenly plenty of reasons to believe that a new Dolphins era of bad-assery has dawned. Also, its the return of Cam Cameron, who now coaches for the Ravens, which gives us all a chance to show him our appreciation. And by appreciation, we mean booing him incessantly. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Tickets range from $41 to $700; get them at www.miamidolphins.com.
