According to the Breast Cancer Foundation, an estimated 297,790 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in the U.S. this year. Men get breast cancer, too, with around 2,300 new cases each year.

Throughout October, the bakery café will contribute 10 percent of its croissant sales from its South Florida locations to Susan G. Komen, the renowned organization dedicated to breast cancer research and advocacy. Last year, Boul'Mich raised more than $13,000 for breast cancer research and hopes to exceed that goal this month. The bakery offers a large variety of fresh-baked croissants with inventive flavors like dulce de leche, crème, Nutella, almond, chocolate, guava and cheese, and ham and cheese.
