You can be sure that the Game of Thrones finale is going to be pretty damn emotionally jarring, so you might want to watch it with a sympathetic crowd who understands your emotional investment. And hey, you might need a beer if your favorite character dies, so your best bet is to head to the German-American Social Club's finale watch party on Sunday.

Looking for something more relaxing? Surfside's Paddletopia is back for a second year with free paddleboard and kayak rentals and yoga classes. And for some low-key competition, show off your The Office trivia skills at Growler USA on Wednesday.

There's no shortage of karaoke nights in Miami, but after a while, even your greatest rockstar moves can get old in front of the same crowds. Need a new karaoke night to freshen up that atonal performance of "Single Ladies?" Hôtel Gaythering has recruited local drag queen Karla Croqueta to host its karaoke night on Mondays. Take this opportunity to learn from a queen and slay that stage. 8 p.m. Monday at Hôtel Gaythering, 1409 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach; Admission is free.

Are you a superfan of The Office? Do you know all of Angela's cats by name? Did you cry at Jim and Pam's wedding? Well, smarty pants, put that knowledge to the test. Growler USA's Wynwood location, in conjunction with TriviaTainment, will host The Office Trivia this Wednesday evening. It's totally free to participate, but guests are asked to register first. And, yes, there will be prizes! 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Growler USA Wynwood, 337 NW 25th St., Miami. Admission is free; register via
Paulo Nazareth is a big deal in Brazil. Now the dynamic artist is hitting the States for his first solo U.S. exhibition tour. "Melee" opens with a series of pieces that provide an alternative political history of Latin America. Among the moving items is a collection of drawings and photographs dubbed Blacks in the Pool, highlighting the discrimination of black people throughout the Americas and how public swimming pools were a focal point of the evolution of segregation. 7 p.m. Thursday through October 6 at ICA Miami, 61 NE 41st St., Miami; Admission is free with RSVP.

He spent more than four decades in solitary confinement for a crime he didn't commit. Albert Woodfox — who has since emerged from jail — has an absolutely incredible story. Thursday evening, he'll speak about his journey and efforts to reform solitary confinement in the United States and beyond. If you can't make it or just want to prep for the event, his new book, Solitary, is a must-read. 7 p.m. Thursday at Books & Books, 265 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables. Admission is free with RSVP via

There will be giveaways too, so bring a bag. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 96th Street Park, 9580 Bay Dr., Surfside. Admission is free; RSVP via

After you waited two years for the final season of Game of Thrones, the past five episodes have flown by faster than a dragon on the hunt. Now it's time for the series finale. To celebrate (or simply to watch the remaining characters' gruesome deaths), the German-American Social Club is throwing a Game of Thrones watch party. In addition to crying because the show will be over, you can drink Game of Thrones beer, Chardonnay, Paso Robles wine, Pinot Noir, and themed cocktails. 7 p.m. Sunday at German-American Social Club, 11919 SW 56th St., Miami. Admission is free.
