Sociedad Actoral Hispanoamericana

For over 15 years, the Hispanic Acting Society (SAH) (Sociedad Actoral Hispanoamericana) has been one of the most important theatre companies in the city of Miami. Their award-winning productions both in Spanish and English, are attributable to their multicultural outlook and excellence in their performance. They have produced over 300 theatrical productions, including Zorro, Locos Adams, High School Musical, Tarzan, and Federico García Lorca’s Blood Wedding, Gypsy Ballads, Yerma, among others. They have presented several productions at the Microtheater Miami and other city venues that have fostered collaborative efforts among theatre companies. SAH is also dedicated to positively impact the emotional development and self-esteem of the children of the city through their weekly acting workshops. In 2010, their Conservatory of Dramatic Arts was founded, which strengthened their students’ creative skills through the study of craft and technique.
