Update 12/11: Miami Police have released a report about Buress' arrest that states he drunkenly asked a cop in Wynwood to call him an Uber and then refused to leave the area when police asked him to. Buress' arrest came outside an Art Basel venue at NW Second Avenue and NW 20th Terrace, where Buress approached a cop while smelling strongly of "an alcoholic beverage" and asked that he call him a ride. When the officer said no and told him to leave, Buress "became angry and belligerant," police allege, and went back into the venue. He ended up arrested when he refused to leave, police say. Buress hasn't directly addressed the arrest, but he did tweet the Clipse song "I'm Good" last night.
Comedian Hannibal Buress has made Wynwood something of a second home in recent years, regularly showing up for surprise shows at Gramps when he's not filming Broad City or The Eric Andre Show. It's not clear exactly what he was doing in Miami last night, but cell-phone video shows how his night ended: handcuffed against a Miami Police cruiser and demanding to know why he was under arrest.
The video, which went viral last night and sparked the #FreeHannibalBuress hashtag, raises some unanswered questions for MPD. The officers on the scene told Buress he was under arrest for "trespassing," but an MPD spokesperson and court records show he was booked on charges of disorderly intoxication.
Here's the video, shot by Twitter account @eyehategabe:

Miami PD hasn't responded to a request from New Times for Buress' police report, so it's still unclear exactly where this went down or what started the problem.
But MPD did confirm on Twitter that Buress was booked for disorderly intoxication, not trespassing, after Billy Corben demanded answers:
If you listen closely to the video, Buress has the last word. As one officer complains he's being difficult, Buress laughs and says to the cop's partner: "He's just salty because I roasted his ass."
