Happy Friday! Lots to do this weekend, from a cooking demo to a proper English brunch with all the trimmings. You can watch bartenders shake things up, celebrate the Art of Food & Music — or even get a shot at stardom.

Weekend starts now!
Grown Organic Cooking Demo at Macy's Dadeland
Grown opened just a few short months ago but already the fast casual restaurant by Ray and Shannon Allen has captured the attention of Miami with its organic cuisine. If you want tips on how to create healthy meals at home, join Grown's executive chef Todd Kiley for a culinary demonstration at Macy's home department at Macy's Dadeland Home Store on June 11 from 3 to 5 p.m.  The event is free, but you must register at eventbrite.com. Purchase $40 of home merchandise and you'll take home a special "grown" inspired gift.
The Art of Food & Music at Brick House
On Saturday, June 11, Brick House is hosting its monthly Art of Food & Music event. From 1 to 9 p.m., enjoy live music and painting while chowing down on Nashville hot wings, fish nuggets, and lobster mac 'n' cheese. Admission is free and pay as you go for food and drink. If you've always wanted to be a star, Seventh Casting is holding an open call for talent for the television series The Agency and the film In The Shadows from 1 to 3 p.m. If you're interested, email [email protected]
Sunday Roast Brunch at the British Garden at the Wynwood Yard
If you yearn for a proper English meal with all the trimmings, come out to the British Garden's Sunday Roast brunch this Sunday, June 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wynwood Yard. For $55, you'll enjoy slow roasted short-rib of beef with horseradish cream, Yorkshire pudding and gravy, parsnip purée, roasted potatoes, rainbow carrots, and garden peas. Dessert is sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
The Art of Martini National Competition at Regent Cocktail Club
Watch Miami's best bartenders celebrate the martini at the Art of Martini national competition, hosted by Stoli. From 6 to 8 p.m., guests can mingle and watch bartenders compete for a spot in the global competition in Ibiza. Guests will be able to enjoy an open bar provided by Stoli and hors d’oeuvres from the Dolce Italian kitchen. Space is limited, so RSVP to [email protected] to reserve your spot.
