Eyes on Miami: Justin Bieber, Ja Rule, and More

It's not easy having eyes all over the scene, being around to take in all the wild visuals at all the worthwhile places in the city. There are, however, those parties and gallery openings where a fortunate photographer can point and shoot. Every week, in collaboration with WorldRedEye, New Times will bring you a solid recap of all the experiences you may have missed around Miami in previous days. December 9, Meg Nocero’s The Magical Guide to Bliss Book Launch at Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour
Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour along with author Meg Nocero hosted a night of inspiration with the book launch of The Magical Guide to Bliss: Daily Keys to Unlock Your Dreams, Spirit and Inner Bliss. Guests enjoyed sips and light bites as they experienced the artistic talent of artist Hector Prado. The book’s cover art and live painting shared a symbolic common thread with Neiman Marcus: the butterfly.

December 10, Del Toro x Tibi Pop-Up Shop
This season, Tibi collaborated with luxury lifestyle brand, Del Toro Shoes to offer limited edition velvet slippers. As a fun play on the molecular and DNA theme of the Tibi Resort 2016 ready-to-wear collection, the slippers, available in two colorways, are embroidered with ionic charges (+ / -). To celebrate the launch of the collaboration, Del Toro welcomed Tibi to their Miami boutique for an exclusive pop-up shop event where customers were able to shop a special curation of the collection.

December 10, Justin Bieber at Dirty Hairy at LIV
It was probably the most insane Dirty Hairy party at LIV to date as Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance at the Miami hotspot. In true Bieber fashion he took over the stage and kept everyone captivated as he sang a couple lines and vibed out with the crowd.

December 15, Nas & Timbaland at Rockwell Mondays
Rockwell, the recently opened Miami Beach nightclub hosted the launch of its Monday night party with an epic performance by Nas. The intimate show offered every guest a front row seat as the legendary rapper took the mic to perform hits including “Hate Me Now,” “It Ain’t Hard to Tell,” “NY State of Mind” and “Made You Look,” making the crowd go wild. Timbaland was even in the house to catch a glimpse of the performance and catch up with Nas.
