On Saturday, May 2, at 6:24 p.m., the speediest 3-year-olds in racing will compete in what's called the "fastest two minutes in sports."

Twenty-one horses are expected to start the 141st Kentucky Derby, with American Pharoah the favorite to win. Joining American Pharoah are athletes with colorful names like Ocho Ocho Ocho, Carpe Diem, War Story, Upstart, and Materiality — all competing for that victory wreath made from thousands of red roses.

Tickets for the Kentucky Derby are still available (but you'll still have to get to Louisville). A better bet is to break out your best hat and your seersucker suit and cheer your favorite horse to the finish line at one of these Miami watch parties.
