Looking for a place to watch the game tonight?
Instead of meeting up, why not Tweet up at Gramps?
Tonight, May 30, from 7 to 9 p.m., drinks are on the New Times at our Tweet Up party.
Since the weather's been kind of dark and dreary, we suggest a shot of penicillin to cure what ails ya. Of course, this penicillin is a potent potable made from of Scotch, lemon, ginger, and honey.
We're also buying a round or two of classic hand-shaken daiquiris. You know -- the kind Ernest Hemingway drank (Papa would never imbibe those sugary mixes). Not into cocktails? We're picking up the tab on draft beers, too. Want something else? There are a plethora of drink specials on whatever makes you happy.
Then, at 8:30 p.m., watch the Miami Heat go for the kill on Gramps' televisions.
If you're hungry, Ms. Cheezious will be on hand to serve up some cheesy goodness like their grilled blue and bacon or their crabby cheese melt.
