The Ms. Cheezious grilled cheese truck debuts this week, flanked with
a pinup girl logo. The menu showcases the classic comfort food, without veering
into overwrought combinations. They'll offer a crab salad and cheddar melt, bacon and blue cheese on
sourdough, an apple and havarti on multi-grain, and a ricotta and orange
marmalade on Texas
toast, among other things.
You can also custom build your own grilled cheese made with your
choice of eight cheeses and a selection of other toppings like tomatoes and
bacon. Combine it with sides like tomato
soup, gravy, chili, or sweet potato fries, and you have a meal.
Co-owners Brian and Fatima Mullins know that when it comes
to grilled cheese, sometimes basic is the best. In some of their pre-debut tastings, American cheese on white bread was consistently
rated most popular by their guinea pigs.
