Paellas R Us is a 13-year-old and running catering company started by Chef David Calavia and his wife Angelina Calavia. The company was born of the couple's desire to start their own business at a time when Chef David was working at Spanish restaurants around town.
Angelina doesn't know how many parties they've catered, but she says they serve paellas of the "seafood, chicken, vegetable, meat, and all kinds," varieties. They are also equipped to handle large parties. Their biggest paella pot is big enough to cook 3,000 servings at a time and must be towed by trailer. They buy their paella pots in Spain.
Pictured above is a seafood paella, which contains "shrimp, calamari, mussels, chicken, Spanish sausage, ham, Mahatma Gold rice, peas and red pepper." Angelina admits there are secret ingredients, but will only go so far as to say "the recipe from the chef, he's from Saragosa, Spain, that's the secret."
