Kim Kardashian and her instant fiancé, Kris Humphrees, married this past weekend at a Montecito, California estate in front of 450 friends and relatives (including staff from People and a camera crew from E!).
The reception, which was catered by Wolfgang Puck, left us wondering where all the money went. Well, yes, there was the six-foot-tall cake, designed by Hansen Cakes in Los Angeles to the tune of $15,000 to $20,000, but when we got our reception menu, we were, frankly, baffled.
OK, so we weren't invited to the wedding -- we got the menu from TMZ:
And, hello? Where's the beef? Just chicken as an entrée? Even during our last transatlantic flight in coach, we got a choice of beef or chicken.
If Wolfgang Puck can't do better than this, we'll have to switch our party caterer to... American Airlines.
According to Us, the couple handed out heart-shaped Krispy Kreme doughnuts as wedding favors (get it? they have the initials KK) to the guests, who included B-list celebs such as Eva Longoria, Ryan Seacrest, Demi Lovato, George Lopez, Mario Lopez, and Lindsay Lohan. Now we know where all the money went: on booze.
Here's a short video of the nuptials in case you can't wait for the E! two-part special in October:
