Starting tonight, Petit Miami will begin a new kind of ladies night special that will require you to meet up with your girlfriends more often. Every Tuesday night, tables of ladies with reservations will receive complimentary glasses of wine all-night long with their dinner. Talk about girl power!
Petit is a darling bistro that's gained praise for its neighborhood vibe and romantic ambiance: white-washed high tops, vintage movie posters, and split-level patio adorned with candles and twinkling lights. The colors are light, the tables and wainscoting around the room are made in white pickled wood and antique mirrors -- perfect for a night out with your leading femme fatales.
The spot effortlessly blends French décor with neighboring Northern Italian fare and a kitchen headed up by Napolitano / Naples Italy born Chef Nicolo Celonas. The kitchen offers all the Italian staples you'd expect and then some: Parma prosciutto and burrata ($18), octopus with potatoes ($16), pappardelle with lamb ragu ($23), chicken scaloppine al limone ($22), and tuna with pistachio nuts and sunchokes puree ($29). Bread, focaccias and pizzas are also prepared daily. For dessert, Petit offers guests a choice of tiramisu, semifreddo toasted nuts, or millefoglie with chantilly cream and mixed berries all for $9 each.
The ongoing ladies night will be hosted every Tuesday night and applies to full menu items only -- that means it's a no-go on Spice orders. However, with plenty of appetizers and affordable main courses all under $30, it's a bargain and great place to raise a glass to the ladies you love.
