Yappy Hour and Tapas

Start your weekend off with a tail-wagging good time at Cafeina tonight at the Happy Hour and Tapas event to benefit the Miami Pet Assistance Coalition. From 6 to 9 p.m., enjoy two-for-one cosmopolitans and dirty martinis until 8 p.m. ($7) and enjoy happy hour specials on cocktails and tapas. Make a $10 donation to the Miami Pet Assistance Coalition, which helps find homeless kitties and puppies homes and provides free spay and neuter services to eligible cats and dogs, and receive a complimentary special cocktail. We're feeling yappy just thinking about it.

A Golden Salute to Summer's End at Cavalli Miami

Officially, summer's here for another few weeks but, frankly, we're ready to say goodbye to Miami's most miserable season. Goodbye to bad hair days, humidity that feels like mother nature threw a hot, wet rag on our heads, and mosquitoes. We say it's time to give summer a grand send off, and there's no better way than at Cavalli's Golden Summer Soiree. Tonight at 10 p.m., end that summer romance by wearing gold (requested) and toasting with the special endless summer cocktail. It's a blend of Roberto Cavalli vodka, rosemary-infused aperol, grapefruit juice, and fresh lime. Bright, golden, and refreshing -- everything that a Miami summer is not!

Miami Spice September - Share Your Photos and Win $100

This year, Miami Spice fans have the opportunity to win special prices through a social media promotion by posting and sharing photos of Miami Spice meals on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #MiamiSpice. In September, foodies will have the chance to win one of four (4) weekly $100 prepaid gift cards or the grand prize of a hotel stay and VIP dining experience when posting their Miami Spice meal photos.

Miami Spice continues through September, and it's a good time to take advantage of some of the featured restaurants that change up their menus for the second month of this promotion. While you're dining, feel free to sneak a picture or two of your amazing meal -- who are we kidding, you're going to do that anyway. While you're sharing your dinner on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, use hashtag #MiamiSpice. You'll automatically be in the running for a chance to win one of four weekly $100 prepaid gift cards or a grand prize of a hotel stay and VIP dining experience. Not bad for doing something you were going to do, anyway?

A three-course lunch is $23 per person and dinner is $39 per person, excluding alcohol, tax, tip and service charges. Check out all the participating Miami Spice restaurants at ilovemiamispice.com.

Marlins Park Beerfest

Is there anything more American than beer and baseball? OK, there's apple pie, but you wouldn't get all excited over piefest, now would you? But Beerfest? That's something to get the 'ole juices flowing. This Saturday, September 6, The Clevelander at Marlins Park is hosting Beerfest. Starting at 4 p.m., sample international, domestic, and local craft beers. Then, stay for the game where the Marlins will (hopefully) trounce the Atlanta Braves. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. Tickets for this 21 and over event are $30 for Beerfest and standing room Clevelander game admission; $45 for Beerfest and reserved seating in the Clevelander section. Tickets include a four-ounce beer mug for sampling, unlimited beer samples, and admission to the game. Tickets are available at miami.marlins.mlb.com.
