New Times' Fourth Annual Iron Fork at Ice Palace Film Studios in downtown Miami is October 20 from 7 to 10 p.m., which gives you a little more than a week to prepare to eat from more than 50 Miami-area restaurants and drink from an everlasting supply of libations.
Iron Fork is best known for its chef competition, which pits two chefs against each other in a head-to-head battle for glory and the coveted Iron Fork award.
This year, food truck fans can rejoice, because for the first time, Iron Fork is introducing the Fighting Food Truck Taco Tangle.
We've chosen two of Miami's best taco trucks, Jefe's Original Fish Taco & Burgers and B.C. Tacos to duke it out in an all out balls-to-the-wall battle for taco glory.
You can also sample the fare of several food trucks at Iron Fork, including B.C. Tacos, Che Grill, Daddy's Grill, Latin Burger, Mac 'n, Mangia Mia, and Ms. Cheezious.
Tickets are $35 in advance, $45 at the door, and $65 for VIP admission. All tickets include the chef competition, food sampling, open bar, and live entertainment. Purchase tickets for Iron Fork 2011 here.
