Herald Called Out For Sipping on GOP Kool Aid

Yesterday's Herald article covering Barack Obama's Tuesday speech at the VFW convention in Orlando claimed "the GOP criticized Obama, a member of the veterans services committee, for voting against $120 billion for the war last year."

While it's totally true that the GOP has nailed Obama (Imagine that!), the liberal leaning press watch dog group Media Matters for America calls out the stories authors, Joseph Goodman and Beth Reinhard, for not bothering to let readers know that Obama has actually repeatedly voted to fund the war.

Are we at the point where journalists just assume readers already know that everything Republicans say is BS with out bothering to clarify it?
