The mainstream media is starting to go through Dubya-induced withdrawal. How else can anyone explain why Sarah Palin, the VP candidate on the losing team, is still making headline news? Let's face it the hokey ex-Guv from Texas provided us with endless fodder these past eight years that we're scrambling to find our fix with the hokey Guv from Alaska. American and international journalists can't wait to hear Palin speak because we know she is going to say something downright stupid. More than two dozen print, television and web reporters sat five rows deep to attend Palin's press conference and keynote address at the Republican Governor's Conference at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Miami today. By lunchtime, dozens of news organizations including CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, the Dallas Morning News and the Miami Herald, had already posted articles with their take on Palin's latest performance to raise her profile for 2012. Personally, I've had enough of her. Has moose killing season started already? Because it's time for Sarah, Todd, Track, Trig, Bristol, Willow and Piper to catch up on their hunting.
