There's nothing worse than butt dialing the wrong person at the wrong time, and even in those instances there's probably few things worse than butt dialing 911 while talking about selling drugs.
Matthew Dollarhide, 19 of Orange City, Florida, was driving a tow truck with two passengers when all three begin to discuss selling drugs. Unfortunately for him, Dollarhide had a cellphone in his pocket and apparently accidentally dialed 911.
The dispatcher listened in and heard the three discussing drugs during the call on Tuesday night. The dispatcher also concluded from the conversation that they were in a tow truck and heard the name "Harry" several times, according to The Daytona Beach News Journal.
After being notified by the dispatcher, local Deputies traced the are where the signal was coming from and soon found a tow truck with the name "Harry's Towing" on it.
Dollarhide and his passengers were caught off guard when pulled over and asked why they were discussing drug sales. No one had a good explanation.
Deputies searched the car and found a crack pipe. Dollarhide said that the pipe belonged to his father, but that he had taken it and put it in his pocket because he didn't want the family's landlord to discover his father used drugs.
Deputies weren't buying it. Dollarhide was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
