Riptide continues to be thoroughly confused by the A-Rod-Madonna love connection. While she's no Einstein, Madonna seems to be comfortably above the average American intelligence level. A-Rod is a guy who hits balls with big pieces of wood for a living. Not that we want to be one of those blogs that devotes prose to deeply theorizing about the personal lives of celebrities, but Madonna's marriage to film director Guy Ritchie seemed to make sense on a intellectual level. Though, given that Madge has devoted most of her brain power to bringing sex into pop culture, it follows that what she really wants is a big 6'3, 220 lb Latin jock to give her the proverbial grand slam ...Oh God! Oh God! The images in our mind!! Get them out! ...Plus there's the fact Rodriguez is 33 and Madonna's 50, not that there's anything wrong with that.

Though, the relationship is thoroughly documented, and Page Six is reporting today

that Rodriquez will be ditching his own kids to spend Thanksgiving in

New York with Madonna and her brood. Except Page Six seems to be,

surprise, surprise, inventing their own facts, saying that A-Rod has

already left Miami for New York, which is weird considering Madonna

will be in town tomorrow for the United State finale of her Sticky

& Sweet Tour. Whatever, it's easier for us to work our head around

that one than it is this relationship in general, but best of look to

those kids. Hope Rodonna works out.
