When LeBron James' black mask made its debut most people compared it to DC Comics' Batman, but it turns out that Marvel Comics' wants a piece of that publicity too. Marvel Illustrator Greg Land sketched up a Captain America-like mask for LeBron and Tweeted out.

This isn't LeBron's first time in the Marvel universe however.
Back in 2012 the comics company made a special 12 issue LeBron comic book that was inserted into ESPN The Magazine. Marvel and ESPN are both owned by Disney -- corporate synergy! Speaking of ...did you know Captain America: Winter Solider hits theaters on April 4th! Why are things like this always a little less fun when you realize the marketing purpose behind them?
