Dwyane Wade has spent a good chunk of his lockout time hobnobbing with the fashion elite. First he was spotted at the men's shows in Milan and Paris before introducing his own designer watch. Then he played model for VMan, and just last week, he was in New York for Fashion's Night Out, during which he dropped hints he's about to launch his own fashion line. Except he needs help naming it. And he wants it to sound French.

New York Magazine questioned the Miami Heat star about what he'd call his fashion line, and Wade seems sure he doesn't want to name it something basic like "the Dwyane Wade Collection."

"My name is, it just looks good on a basketball jersey. Besides that, it don't need nothing else to do," he told the magazine.

"A nice, you know, French kind of ring to it," he elaborated when asked about an ideal name. "Something that rolls off the tongue."

Ah, French-sounding. So apparently this won't be a line of athletic wear like his old line with Converse. This will be fashion with a French-sounding capital F, darling.

Well, we suggest he ask Gloria James. She's good at coming up with vaguely French-sounding made-up names.
