The Miami-Dade School Board didn't waste much time today. After sending Rudy Crew on his way with $368k they offered the warm seat behind the superintendent's desk to Alberto Carvahlo. Opps. Pinellas County totally had their eyes on him first. In fact they made their offer to Carvahlo only hours before.

Carvahlo hasn't accepted either job, but is currently employed by the Miami-Dade school system as the associate superintendent for intergovernmental affairs. Whatever that means.
