An injured man probably had mixed feelings when cops showed up at his house early this morning. On one hand, the man had several injuries and desperately needed medical attention. On the other hand, he was running a marijuana grow house that police discovered when they came to assist him.

According to NBCMiami, police responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots fired at a home in the 2800 block of Northwest 198th Street. Once there, they discovered the home's unidentified owners. While he hadn't been shot, he was suffering from multiple injuries.

He gave police permission to search his home, and that's when they found a marijuana growing operation that included 20 growing plants and several more that had been cut up.

He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center for his injuries, but when he recovers, he faces charges for running the grow house.
