We posted a link in the news roundup to this story about the Miami Beach men who were arrested as part of a Lehman Brothers insider trading scandal, but there's a part of our brain that shuts down when confronted with too much business-numbers-money nonsense. Now we have sexy new information! Like a Playboy Playmate! So let's review!

Jamil A. Bouchareb, a South Beach lad, was a day trader and allegedly got insider tips from Matthew Devlin, a trader based in New York with Lehman Brothers. Altogether the scheme resulted in more than $4.8 million in illicit profit.

Bouchareb, like any self-respecting South Beach party boy, had a former Playboy model girlfriend, August 1994 Playmate of the Month Maria Checa (she's 10 years his senior, by the way). Bouchareb passed tips along to Checa, who benefited from them as well. Checa, though, was not arrested.

Checa is now a respected artist, apparently, but she was on the cover of Playboy's Hot Latin Ladies video and filmed a sex scene for cinematic classic From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money before her days of alleged casual insider trading.

We also found Bouchareb's Friendster (haha, Friendster?), which is not hard to do since it's, like, his first Google search result. For his profile pics he uses scans from Ocean Drive of him posing with famous celebrities such as Paul Walker and Loon (haha, Loon?). The profile doesn't provide anything interesting except that his favorite book is, naturally, Atlas Shrugged.

Bouchareb also got his parents inolved in the scheme. The family that cons together belongs together, or something. It should be noted that he denies the charges. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.
