Apparently, the Hurricanes have brought on Richard Simmons as a uniform consultant, because during spring practice yesterday, the team sported short shorts that left little to the imagination.

Sure, this is Miami, it's hot as hell even in February, and this getup would be considered downright conservative on South Beach, but the new Jazzercizey look isn't exactly going to strike fear into the hearts of next season's opponents.

Buster Sports suggests the plan is to "embarrass the team into never losing again." The 7th Floor suggests Monistat.

Can someone check that Jacory Harris really does have a thumb injury and he's not sitting out most of spring training to avoid these shorts?
