Beware all Nintendo villains! Bowser, Ganon, and Donkey Kong, you must tread lightly or face the wrath of the 3000 Brigade!

The 3000 Brigade declares on its web site, "We are the 3000 Brigade! We are here to keep the peace in the Nintendo Universe!"

By "here" we think they mean Earth, and they were apparently put on Earth to put on kick-ass shows.

The 3000 Brigade describe their shows as "Nintendo/Video Game-parody shows, rated "M for mature." We caught a show at the Wizard World Miami Comic Con, and yup, the show is pretty mature. Well, not mature exactly, but kinda sexy.

3000 Brigade rocks the house. There were people who went to the Wizard World Miami Comic Con just to watch the Brigade perform. Brian Reyes, a Comic Con attendee who was dressed as the Joker from Batman and offering people to create a zombie look for donations, was there "to see all my favorite heroes. To see people dressed up. But mostly, to see the 3000 Brigade!" He was very excited.

The Brigade's booth was the most popular at the Con, which was probably due to the fact that they played a lot of Mika and had humongous, mutated dancing bunnies humping the air in front of the booth. Yes, huge bunnies whose style of dancing was reminiscent of a Pitbull music video.

Erin Hurst, director of the 3000 Brigade, says, "Our shows are grown-up, edgy. Think Nintendo meets SNL meets Family Guy. We're raunchy." Hurst is based in Ft. Lauderdale, but the Brigade plays often in Miami, and Cons are the perfect place for them to perform. "Comic and anime cons are the only places where you can dress up like your favorite character and people look at you like you're cool, not crazy."
