Just picture it: You and rapper/producer Timbaland meeting up in a secret Miami location to dance your hearts out ... along with dozens of strangers.
Cultist received a notice from Flash Mob America this week that promised to make "flash mob history" with a planned gathering somewhere in the Magic City -- one that will include Timbaland himself.
What's more, it promises, participants have the chance to be "seen by more than 100 million people worldwide."
A spokesperson for Flash Mob America couldn't give us exact details -- "to keep the element of surprise, we cannot share too much" -- but promised that the flash mob will appear during "a very high profile televised event" this Friday night.

The flash mob will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, but the spokesperson wouldn't say whether it would be broadcast live or repackaged for broadcast later in the evening.
Participation is open to the public via the website. Participants should be available at 3 p.m. that same day for a rehearsal of dance moves choreographed by Fatima Robinson, choreographer to stars like Aaliyah, Rihanna, and Usher. (We're guessing she's dumbed it down significantly for the general populus.)
So if you love fame, and strangers, and crowds, and surprises, and Timbaland, this sounds like a pretty great Friday night. If you are mostly just excited to see a bunch of locals dance around like morons, well, stay tuned.
