So we got a cat this week. His name is Oliver. He's the most adorable thing on the planet. If you have a cat, our cat PWNS yours.
Anyway, we'll more than likely play with Oliver all weekend. However, that doesn't mean you should sit around and wallow about it. Miami doesn't like wallowers. It's not a cute look.
With plays, concerts, and a big bash being thrown by Miami's most fun Democrats, you'll have plenty to do to keep yourself occupied.
Friday
The Blue Party: Miami's Birthday Party: A party for the Miami-Dade Democratic Party.
Marlins v Pirates: Do you even lift, bro?
Toad the Wet Sprocket: Back in action, against all odds.
Rabbit Hole: Pultizer Prize-winning play about the worst kind of mourning (we won't spoil it, though).
Saturday
Vans Warped Tour: From ages 15 to 50, there's something for everyone there.
Knock N' Roll: A double punch of music and boxing (with the bonus of food and drinks).
The Psychedelic Furs: The same ones who recorded "Pretty in Pink" for the film of the same name.
Submission "Asilo de Locos": A crazy-good fetish night for all who dare.
Sunday
Actors' Playhouse's Rated P for Parenthood: Because we're not just bum-bum-crazed weirdos. We're parents too!
Good People: A twice Tony-nominated play about the turns of fate that separate the winners from the losers.
