Sad to see the end of another Swim Week? Here's some news that might cheer you up: MTV is bringing new episodes of House of Style to your screen -- well, your computer screen, at least.

The network announced today that it plans to revive the '90s show focused on supermodels, fashion designers, and the pervy musicians who surrounded them -- updated to reflect current trends, of course. Swap the baby barettes for hipster glasses, though, and the format sounds pretty much the same:

"House of Style is deeply rooted in celebrating and drawing energy from our audience's mix-and-match love of fashion, music and pop culture," Dave Sirulnick, executive vice president of MTV News and Docs, told The Hollywood Reporter.

House of Style ran from 1989 to 1999 and featured queens of the glossies like Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangelista; Cindy Crawford was its original host. The show also featured designer interviews and makeovers of popular musicians -- this was back when the 'M' in MTV actually stood for music, remember? Salt 'n' Pepa, Gwen Stefani, New Kids on the Block, Will Smith in his early rapper days -- the show was basically a pop culture time capsule from the 1990s.

And now, that time capsule is at your fingertips. The full show archives are online, meaning you relive all 12 seasons of Hammer pants, babydoll dresses, and riot grrl combat boots anytime you damn well please.

"Crossover content" from the House of Style website will start running on MTV beginning October 9, but the majority of the news, interviews, and other video clips that'll embarrass and delight us all in 20 years will be hosted at the website. The new host of House of Style will be announced at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 6.
