Just as we expected, we can blame a lot of our emotional baggage on Disney. In a new web comedy series, Advice to Young Girls From a Cartoon Princess, Second City's Danielle Uhlarik presents nuggets of wisdom from animated classics, and the films' creepy messages become uncomfortably clear.

In The Little Mermaid episode (video below), Uhlarik advises "Always have friends that are smaller than you so you can control them." And then, "My best feature is my voice, so I sold it for plastic surgery." The gems continue in the Beauty and the Beast video where she not only reasons why you should stay with a dude who scares you, but also "Don't just sit on furniture, talk to it."

Uhlarik's expressions often make her look a like a lot like Tina Fey, which is great because we have a Fey-shaped hole in our hear while we await the new season of 30 Rock. We'll also be glad when SNL's Kristen Wiig and Parks and Recreation's Amy Poehler are back on to serve up some sassy social commentary. In the meantime, at least we have this.
