Sorry, Thea Goldman, but we love the free booze-a-thon every second Saturday during the Art Walk. Yes, we make it a point to check out some of the work and support local artists, but isn't everything better when you have a libation in hand?

And while every subsequent art walk seems to be getting drier and drier, February has birthed two options you are going to want to check out. Don't worry, nobody has to know you are only going for the complimentary cocktails. In fact, read our Art Walk guide so you can keep up the pretense.

Wynwood Art Lounge

The usual 42 Below event behind David Castillo Gallery moves to a proper bar setting at Cafeina Saturday. Bartenders serve up yummy cocktails with the vodka brand's numerous flavored spirits. And thanks to Cafeina's backroom gallery, there will be an art installation by Thomas Lowey -- 'cause you're there to check out the art, right? Poplife's Mike Deuce DJs during the 7 to 9:30 p.m. open bar.

Bunko Art Walk Afterparty

While many local galleries have stopped serving drinks, they can still help you score free booze elsewhere. O.H.W.O.W.'s Bar is challenging you to become a collector by snatching up business cards from any of the local galleries Saturday night. You can then trade those cards for free drinks until 2 a.m. at the 14th Street watering hole. The party fliers says the purpose is to celebrate "second Saturday's art walk and the shit-show it has become." DJ Withers will be providing the music.
