Mova Block Party
Friday night, April 12, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. at Mova Lounge, expect elbow to elbow human traffic at this free event. There'll be a fashion show by Andrew Christian (Bravo's The Fashion Show); a performance by actress and drag performer Erika Norell; and DJ Bryan Zero manning the tables inside. Outside on the main stage, twerk to the sounds of DJ Kidd Madonny. It's been said that if Lady Gaga were a DJ, she'd probably be Kidd Madonny.
Fling
Maybe being outdoors with a bunch of topless dudes ain't your thang. No worries, ladies, Pride organizers made sure to have an equally scorching event for women on Friday night, April 12, at PAX. For $10, you can parade your fine ass across the dance floor from 10 p.m. until 3 a.m., as tropical and Latin beats thump, thump, thump from the speakers and equally fly women dance around you.
Sense Party
Nikki Beach hosts this boy toy party on Friday night, April 12. From 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., you will be treated to two of the hottest and most well-known DJs in the biz. With names like Joe Gauthreaux and Toney Moran, ticket prices of $25 - $50 should come as no surprise.
Out-Fit Challenge: Oleta River State Park
For those outdoorsy types, Pride organizers have put together the first ever LGBT mud run. Challenge that bod this Saturday, April 13, with a 5k to 7 k run riddled with mud, water, ice, and fire obstacles. After the race, enjoy an meta blast that includes a DJ, beer, cocktails, and contests. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here for prices and availability.
Beach Party @ Lummus Park
Every year, festival goers look forward to Pride's free beach parties and this year promises to be no different. The party is free and runs from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m Saturday, April 13. Move to the groove of DJ Theresa, surrounded by beach, booze, biceps, and boobs.
Urge
Urge, the uber dance party presented by Score, takes place Saturday, April 13, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. at Liquid's former space (1449 Washington Ave., Miami Beach). DJs Oscar G and Abel on the turntables and open bar from 9 to 10 p.m. Check Pride website or Score website for details.
Fling Mega Dance Party
Fling returns for round two on Saturday night, April 13, at Score, giving women their own Mega Dance Party. How mega? The event brought out over 800 women last year. Expect this year's party to trump last year's, with sexy go-go dancers and a performance from burlesque troupe, The Knockouts. Tickets cost $15 - $25, party runs from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m., and DJ GiGi will be spinning for y'all.
Pride Parade
We hope you're still alive on Sunday, because the Festival's main event takes place right on Ocean Drive from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Expect all kinds of floats at this year's Parade, including one from our very own, Pepe Billete. If you're also tremendo pinguo, head straight to the Pride Festival on the beach at Lummus Park. You'll have the opportunity to further drink, dance, shop, and watch headliners Lady Bunny, Crystal Waters, and Adam Lambert bask in their pride right along with you.
