Last time Justin Martin played upstairs at the Electric Pickle, the man literally made the floor shake and wobble like we were dancing inside one of those amusement park trampoline tents. With his ginoromously fat gut-rattling basslines and chunky jackin' breakbeats, hardly anyone has given the Pickle's Dynacord stacks as much of a workout as the San Francisco DJ/producer and Dirtybird label co-owner.

Martin first came to international acclaim when breakout hit "The Sad Piano" got picked up by Ben Watt's Buzzin' Fly label in 2004 and landed him in the crates of major tastemakers like Derrick Carter and Pete Tong. He would go on to launch Dirtybird in 2005 with fellow heavyweight Claude VonStroke (also slated to play the Pickle in September) and has since released a formidable series of floor smashers while touring the globe.

Boasting an irreverent and delectably sleazy blend of tech-house, ghettotech and funky garage, Martin delivers easily the funnest and most exuberant repertoire of any EDM DJ out there right now and has already garnered a massive following in Miami. Become a Justin Martin believer this Friday night at Electric Pickle, where you can catch him along with DJs Tomas of Aquabooty and Brad Strickland.

In the meantime, you can check out the official video for a recent collaboration with brother and fellow-producer Christian Martin that has been making waves on the web. This dirty Miami bass-infused number totally exemplifies the Martins' hysterical and fun-loving approach to dance music.

Justin Martin. With Tomas of Aquabooty, Brad Stricklan. 10 p.m. Friday, August 13. Electric Pickle, 2826 N. Miami Ave., Miami. Ages 21 and up. 305-456-5613; electricpicklemiami.com
