UPDATE Ultra Music Festival has finally announced its Phase 1 lineup. Check out Ultra 2012's 92-act roster, headlined by Avicii, Tiësto, and David Guetta.

MiamiMusicWeek.com has announced that Knife Party (a side project involving Pendulum's Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen) and British duo Chase & Status have been added to the lineup for Ultra Music Festival 2012. Our sources say the leak is correct.

Other confirmed acts include New Order and Armin Van Buuren. There's also a high probability that Justice will be included in the final Ultra 2012 lineup.

The MiamiMusicWeek.com post also says "tickets are selling very fast! And [Ultra] expect[s] to completely sell out just after the release of [the] highly anticipated Phase 1 lineup."

Now if this actually happens (and Crossfade's sources say the likelihood is very good), it would be the first time the festival sells out so early.

When sales were first announced, we complained a bit that organizers should think about doing a Coachella-style layaway program for ticket sales. But recession be damned! Apparently, the steep $299.95 (plus fees) general admission ticket price isn't stopping people from snatching them up quickly.

Stay tuned, because we hear that Ultra's Phase 1 lineup announcement is imminent.

Ultra Music Festival 2012. Friday, March 23, to Sunday, March 25, 2012. Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. General admission tickets cost $299.95 plus fees or $599.95 plus fees for VIP. Visit ultramusicfestival.com.
