When Bobb Bruno and Bethany Cosentino bring their band Best Coast to Grand Central on Tuesday night, it's entirely possible that Downtown Miami will break out into a riot. And if it does happen, count on Bobb to keep a level head; he's got experience with this sort of thing.

After the cut, Mr. Bruno escapes Hollywood riot police after things go wrong at a Slayer show, weighs in on his ability to knock out Glenn Danzig, and names the three runners up for Best Coasts.

Here's the full story of Bobb and the Slayer riot:

"At one of our shows, I ran into Arthur Googy, like the most recorded member of The Misfits, and his girlfriend. I was talking to them about music for a bit before his girlfriend was like, 'Do you like The Misfits?' and he introduced himself. I started freaking out.

"Beth says she's never seen me that excited about anything. They are one of my favorite bands. They're how I learned to play drums. So to meet the guy who actually played those songs was amazing.

"I've probably seen Danzig 20 times. Even before they had the first record out, I saw them. They opened for Slayer and the show ended in a riot. The event had been oversold and there were people still outside, trying to get in by the time Slayer started.

"They decided to dive headfirst through the glass to get into the place and the Hollywood riot police had to come in. My friend and I left early, not knowing any of this happened.

"We were trying to find a pay phone to call for our ride home and we turn around to see this whole line of riot police coming at us. We had to dive into traffic to get away from the swinging batons.

"So we ran into an Arby's and were like, 'Are you closing?' and they were like, 'Why?'

"'Because there's a riot.'

"But they didn't close, so we watched it through the windows. And because it was an Arby's, we stayed for a bit."

Bobb is a man of peace but we still couldn't help ask if he thinks he could drop Glenn Danzig with one punch. His response:

"No, Danzig would destroy me. Somebody can get lucky at anytime and knock out another person. i watch a lot of UFC and anyone can get dropped with one punch, no matter how tough they are. But me taking out Danzig? No way."

Bobb and Danzig both call Los Angeles home, two ticks in the column for California's greatness. It's pretty clear that Best Coast believes that California's is number one when it comes to ranking coasts.

But surely that means they've taken the time to rank every last one of the world's coasts, right? Bobb gave his his personal rankings for the top three runner up coasts. They are:

2. Costa del Sol

3. The Amalfi Coast

4. The Ivory Coast

Bobb says: "I've never been to any of those. I've been to Spain and that was awesome. And Italy was really good, too. I haven't been to Africa. But the food in Spain and Italy is tough to beat."
