Sure, we like to pretend the week of Art Basel Miami Beach (AKA Miami Art Week) is all about the glorified flea market happening either side of the causeway. But you just want to party. You can't afford to pay $10,000 for a bike covered in Saran Wrap and called "Untitled." But you can afford the cover charge for most of Miami's venues the week of December 2 to 9.
And yes, there is more than just the highly touted UR1 Festival. With the return of Basel Castle, a Windish Agency party at Grand Central, and a packed week at Electric Pickle, you have plenty of reasons to skip the art and just party.
