Sandwiched between Usher on May 18 and a "special Thursday" performance by the future American Idol champ and runner-up on May 31, Pitbull has been added to the mainstream list of musical acts tackling the Today Show stage as one of several participating in the year's Toyota Summer Concert Series.
Mr. Worldwide is scheduled to hit Rockefeller Plaza on Friday, May 25, the same day Men in Black III opens in theaters, where he'll likely perform that film's theme, Back in Time, and rep Miami to nth degree.
However, he's not the only Summer Concert Series act claiming 305.
About a month after Pitbull plays Today, Carol City rapper Flo Rida will take the stage outside the venerable morning show's studio on the Plaza, almost certainly slapping America with a live performance of that abhorrent "Good Feeing" track.
But of course, the big news out of 30 Rock isn't Flo Rida or Pitbull. It's Justin Biber and Train. Both the Biebz and the "Hey, Soul Sister" gang are likely to draw the biggest crowds this summer.
For Beliebers, they'll have their chance to catch the 18-year-old heartthrob/Proactiv Acne Solution spokesperson on Friday, June 15.
Train fans will have to wait until August 24 for their "Drive By."
