Meteorologists agree that tropical storm Isaac may or may not pose a serious threat to Florida. And state officials are urging residents to prepare for a hurricane, but again, it's totally up to the individual.

After all, nobody knows what's going to happen.

But it's the very meteorological uncertainty that makes hurricanes--or the threat of one--so much damn fun.

Who cares if it hits? There're a bunch of gnarly music-related things to do in Miami this weekend under $10. And it's going to take a lot more than a category one hurricane to keep us away.

All good things come to an end, including summer. Swing by Sweat for an end-of-summer blowout. This party has been rescheduled for the weekend of August 31 to September 2, thanks to Hurricane Isaac.
