Hit Play!'s finally gotten it together to formally bring an official CD release party to their awesome debut EP, In Case of Emergency. Comprised by Gaston de la Vega on bass, Machbeth Proenza on drums, Johnny Underpaid and Raf Solo on guitars and Alex Calante on vocals, their take on Southern California punk takes its cues from better-known outfits like Pennywise, Lagwagon and Face to Face while maintaining the individual elements that make up the band.

I'm leaning towards Jughead's Revenge and Bad Religion here which is cool and nowhere near as complicated as the instructions for finding their rehearsal space in the wonderful City of Progress, Hialeah. So write these down and plug 'em into your GPS:

Get on 826 (the Palmetto), head northbound and exit on NW 103rd street, go west two lights to NW 80th avenue, turn left and proceed five "rows," the Shack Annex will be on your right. No word as to what actually a row is, but shit, it's Hialeah.

Joining the festivities will be the rapidly buzz-growing Arsenal 88, Jem Marie, the Attention Radio band and stellar super-pop group Low Visibility. These trying economic times have not been forgotten by your gracious hosts! A miserable ten dollars will get you in through the door with a cup for refillable free beers. The CD will also be available for a fiver throughout the night, so don't sleep on your laurels for this one! Check out a video after the jump.

Hit Play! with Arsenal 88, Low Visibility, Jem Marie and Attention Radio at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 14th at the Shack Annex, 9811 NW 80th Avenue, Unit 7-D, Hialeah. Don't call! Don't visit! Just show up!
