Here's a quick break from the pre-Winter Music Conference hoopla to give you some local music news.

Sweat Records has announced the lineup from its third annual Sweatstock on April 21, which also coincides with Record Store Day.

Headlining the party is Miami's favorite electro-pop act Afrobeta along with local acts Krisp, Deaf Poets, Psychic Mirrors Ark IX, PLAINS, Ketchy Shuby, Jesse Jackson, The State Of, and Arboles Libres.

And that's just the main stage.

"They're all bands I never get tired of seeing live and that continue to impress me," says Lauren Reskin, the woman behind Sweat Records.

"You can also expect Casa de Ha-ha comics, MCs, and surprise guests in between sets," she adds when pressed if there is anything else to look forward to.

In addition to the main stage lineup, Beached Miami and Roofless Records will be presenting live acts inside of Churchill's Pub. No word yet on who exactly will be performing, but we're told an announcement will be made soon.

Also, Miami Art Museum will be parking its MAM Soundbomb Bus, a 1970s Volkswagen minibus, that will feature live DJ sets by DJs Hottpants, Induce, Rob Riggs, and A-Train.

And just so you don't even thinking of leaving Sweat Records, there will also be food trucks parked nearby including Mac'n Soul Food, Gastropod, Bocaditos, Coolhaus, Gypsy Kitchen, and Real Sorbet.

There is also Record Store Day to look forward to, which, in you are unaware, celebrates the local independent record store with special releases on vinyl, CD, and, yes, even cassette by acts ranging from local musicians to big headliners.

"There is a Stax Records box set I'm really looking forward to," says Reskin about the special RSD releases. "Also a Jacuzzi Boys-King Khan split release and Arcade Fire 12-inch for 'Sprawl II.'"

As always, Sweatstock's entertainment is free. Sweat Records promises a lot more announcements concerning the event, so stay tuned by visiting sweatrecordsmiami.com/sweatstock2012.
