In the make-believe world of reality television, anything is possible ... So long as it's marketable.
Take Teen Mom starlet Farrah Abraham, the 21-year-old aspiring chef-turned-model-turned-author who snuck into America's collective heart with her charming smile and piercing gaze, who's looking to capitalize on fame by dipping her toes into the music industry.
According to inTouch, Abraham recently completed her debut record, and the album's first single, "Finally Getting Up From Rock Bottom," is a real banger.
Listen after the cut.
Okay, we lied. The song's terrible. It's basically unintelligible and grotesquely overproduced.
But is it as bad as some of the other tracks that have been released by reality show stars?
Michaele Salahi, Real Housewives of D.C.
She's best know for hugging Joe Biden after allegedly sneaking past Secret Service and crashing a White House state dinner honoring Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. But former Real Housewives of DC star Michaele Salahi has also moonlighted as a singer. At least four of you must remember her 2011 club banger, "Bump it."
Tila Tequila, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila
Can you really blame the Juggalos for pelting Tila Tequila with rocks and glass bottles during her less-than-stellar performance at the 2010 Gathering? Don't even answer. Violence is not the answer. But neither is Tequila's music.
Brooke Hogan, Hogan Knows Best
Hulk Hogan's daughter was tired of living in her famous father's shadow. So she asked daddy to back a music career and move her into a penthouse apartment on South Beach where she could live with her two best friends and focus on her passion. Only problem, she's terrible.
Jo De La Rosa, Real Housewives of Orange County
Here's a video of a train wreck. It'll help put Jo De La Rosa's music into perspective.
Kim Kardashian, Keeping up with the Kardashians
On a talent scale of Kim Kardashian to bowling pin, the middle Kardashian's about a Kim Kardashian. Nobody, including herself, has any clue why she's so fucking famous. With a doubt, however, everyone can agree it's not because of her "Jam."
